Young Adult Alcohol/Drug Awareness (YAADA)

Lorain County’s Young Adult Alcohol/Drug Awareness (YAADA) Coalition began in April, 2010.  Through a State Incentive Grant/Strategic Prevention Framework from the Ohio Department, this 3 1/2 year grant will assist Lorain County to address the needs of our young adults between the ages of 18-25.  Our grant initially targets high risk alcohol use and marijuana use among this age group.  Using a process similar to CTC, YAADA has been surveying the community to finalize its needs assessment data.

YAADA’s coordinator is Diana Marrero-Pinto.  She can be contacted at 440.282.9920.
